.cd?
Hi
I am working with a musician pal on some marketing of his new album. He suggested a domain.cd I kinda think that he should go for a .com and if that fails .co.uk But, this is based on nothing. Would it make any difference? What *should* he do? Thanks |

Personally if it were me it's very likely that I would buy all 3, and have two of them point to whichever one makes the most sense to have the site on.

If your friend wants to be taken seriously, he should register the .com and .co.uk. While I can understand why your friend likes .cd, he should keep in mind that the CD format is likely to be phased out over time. I don't see any sense in efforts and expenses to build such a site and brand it.
