The Hun and pop-ups

Hi -

I don't know if the Hun checks in here or not, but either way, I'd like to know y'all's thoughts.

The Hun has a prohibition against sponsors that use pop-up consoles (which would be 90% of all sponsors, IME). Well, no problem there, really, 'cause a.) it's his site (duh), and b.) I'm starting to use the "no-pop up" option whenever possible myself. Some of it is really out of control.

My frustration is that the Hun's script is set to decline galleries, even if the "no-popup" option is set on the links. And yet, on the decline message, it clearly states "Your gallery is declined. Check your sponsors and remove the one(s) that pop consoles or entrap people. Or look on their site to check if they offer a console-less version of their program."

Well, the sponsor in question does indeed offer a console-free option, and I make absolutely sure to use it when submitting. So telling me to do something that gets my galleries declined anyway is sort of irrelevant. It would be better, IMO, (and not create false hopes in the submitters) to simply state "here are the sponsors I do not accept, regardless of whether you have the no-console option on your links or not."

But really, that's a relatively minor quibble compared to the ever-growing number of TGPs whose submit scripts are totally broken anyway.

Well yes, he could have a quick list on the submit page to make things easy. I almost always send the surfers to an FPA for galleries to him to be safe. Unless he really hates the sponsor due to bad popup traps you can link the FPA to the regular tour and he doesn't mind that. Same with WorldSex.

I dont have a problem geting listed at the hun, i do know from expierence his script decline sites of me even without pop up, so i have emailed him about it, i always got an answer, when the script decline it was the fact they had bad experience with the sponsor i used.
