htaccess & FTP

Is there an FTP program that shows .htaccess files?
most servers are set up that they don't show them but I thought there was one..

Most FTP programs have an option to show invisible files. If the one you are using doesn't either change FTP programs or bug your host to change the server setup.

If you're using a version of WSFTP there's a little text box on the right hand side in with the buttons - type this in there:

-a

and then hit enter

I've used CuteFTP on a multitude of different hosting, and sometimes you see 'em sometimes you don't, it's to do with the server set up.
