Up with the Vampires before sunrise. Morning all it's the mid Saturday of March

Rather sore this morning so couldn't sleep in. Went for two bike rides yesterday for a total of ten miles and then did a five mile night paddle. Normally that wouldn't be that much but I'm really out of shape due to being in and out of the hospital so much over the last few years.

New Dark Shadows looks campy. We get to see Johnny Depp making funning faces as a Vampire. I remember watching Dark Shadows as a child with my mom. It's the only soap that I've ever watched.

Just a day of work planned but we left the kayaks on the tailer and will probably do another night paddle tonight.

Somehow I wound up far behind on things I thought I'd be way ahead on by mid-month so although it's a beautiful day in paradise I'll be inside working away until most of the day's gone.

Wishing a good "wearing of the green" day to all (and may none of you get hanged for wearing a shamrock in your caubeen).

Good Morning

Doing a bunch of work before a contractor comes to the house for some estimates and then a bunch more before Supercross on TV. It's raining, and not typical SoCal rain but real rain so not planning on going anywhere outside of the house.

When I read the title I thought I would post that trailer, I saw it yesterday. Should of known you would have already done it. I did not know it was a soap but it does look quite funny to me. Plus, its Depp directed by Burton so whats not to like.

Morning all.

We went and finally upgraded phones yesterday, I finally have an android OS phone, a Samsung Galaxy S.

Nice and big and I got barely any sleep last night playing with it. I swear it was about a week after we got the last ones that we found out I couldn't do all the cool apps (like foursquare) that everyone else was doing. Really enjoying the cloud messaging with my sister too.

So I'm very groggy on this windy day. There is a severe winter storm warning for the mountains all around us, calling for several feet of snow. I don't think we will see any at this elevation, but it supposed to be windy rainy and cool all day so glad we got our running around all done yesterday.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! (does this count as green?

I had such a crush on Barnabas in Dark Shadows, that too is the only soap opera I ever watched faithfully. My sister used to hide, it scared her, lol. Can't wait to see the movie.

I just found they have all the episodes of the original Dark Shadows on Netflix Instant Que.
