Sleepy Thursday November 14th (aka CLICK)

Morning!

I had a "click" go off in my head yesterday as far as work priorities & without boring you with details, it's a decision that was very difficult to make, but odds are no one's going to notice it (which sounds kinda strange, but I think I just had to "get it off my chest") This is a Top 3 "click" for me. The other 2 were:
- When my fat ass decided to diet & exercise about 10 years ago & I ended up losing 50+ pounds
- Nov 2004 when I decided to quit drinking
Fast forward to now when I'm basically the same weight I started at & drinking like a fish a couple times a month and yes, you can make a case that those 2 didn't exactly "stick" for the rest of my life but they did work for a long time, so my fingers are crossed.

I'm not scheduled to leave the house today, but I'm sure that'll change

Other than that...

I think those two choices are on almost everyone's list. Those types of changes are tough to do because you don't see results right away. Your body screams at you for making it work hard while your brain cries for its fix of sugars. Your body also becomes dependent on alcohol, and the feelings you get when you drink. Neither choice makes you feel good right away so they are easy to walk away from. And the holidays, with the parade of food and decadent treats doesn't help, plus there is so little time to do anything between the shopping and celebrating. Whew!

Still, I hope your change in view works for you. I am trying to do much the same thing here, but having a tough go with it. Maybe we can keep each other inspired...

Those of us who've hung around here for a while could probably guess what it is. Sounds like your at least okay with it.

I am off to the gym in a couple of minutes. I've put my Fibtbit back on in hope of continually and successfully reminding myself I need to lose 9-14 kg (20-30 lbs). I've got a lunch meeting and then a play to see tonight.

Have a mentioned my head is ringing. Fuck.

I don't know why I'm so afraid to stae it "in public" because it's not like there's surfers reading what the 5 of us do on a daily basis Basically, if I don't have time to add new links, I'm just going to recycle previous listings. So on the surface, things will appear normal, but I guess it's an integrity/pride kinda thing, because I know nothing I'm putting up is new & that bugs me. So I'm not exactly OK with it, but it is what it is.

Good afternoon

Been a long day, so far, with coaching and two long meetings.
Rest of the day will be spent with my GF. I had plans to do a lot of other things, but I'm OK with us switching some days and spend time together today.

Good luck GG. You know about my troubles with alcohol, so no need to talk about that, but I've been trying to loose weight a few times, too. In May I managed to reach my goal, but the moment I started to relax, weight came back. Not all of it, though.
So I am currently trying to motivate myself to go into "fighting-weight"-mode again.
Thing is, I actually feel better when I'm focused on what I eat, but that isn't enough to keep going on.
If there's anything I can do to help you stay motivated, let me know

Good morning

Yea I hear ya on dieting and less drinking, though I have been doing less drinking. I got rid of the binge drinking with friends. Well it;s not "binge" drinking but at times we get together and sit around chatting, listening to music and drink 8-9 beers lol, I did cut that out 90%. I am at my heaviest weight I've ever been and it's drinking, plain and simple. I eat "ok" for the most part.

Anyway, work all day then meeting a friend for and to watch football tonight

Up early to do biz work, then I'll be heading outside to work on dry creek, followed by lunch and then passing out before doing some more biz work.

Unless the old stuff looks really dated, you may be presenting something they haven't seen before. Maybe it is someone that has never been there before and would never ever know.
