Hi

We're back home from a week long holiday. It's been really nice and when I searched through my memories, it turns out it's my first vacation since 2009!!! It has probably done us both very good.

has been at my sister's house and it turns out they're a perfect match. So finally I have someone to take care of her, when I can't.

Weather has been really good all week and it turned bad when we drove homewards. So nothing to complain about.

I'm not used to hang around a person 24/7 anymore, though, so today is just doing nothing.

Welcome back jolly! Glad you enjoyed your vacation.

Another very hot day here that may lead to thunderstorms. I'll be inside. The only thing on my agenda is some sewing I've got to do -- a button on a pair of shorts and some elastic on a mask. Other than that, I guess I'll see what happens.

Been apartment shopping for my daughter and bought her a car, now we're waiting on the apartment we applied for. Hoping we get it as I don't want to stay here any longer than I need to. It's limited selection out there and takes 2-3 days to hear back. The first pace we applied for someone took later the same day we applied

Welcome back Jolly! A vacation without working, even just a little bit, must be a foreign idea. I might have to try that sometime.

The campers should return here early afternoon today and then it's the 2 hour drive home for the wife and I. Will be good to get out of this heat as it will be low 70s F at my house versus 100+

More tv and playing with pets with some work thrown in.
