Saturday - October 1 - the beginning of ???

The fun continues today. They kept my FIL overnight, and moved him to the Cardiac Care Unit. His difficulties stem from pulmonary edema. He's in the right place, and getting the care he needs. The Husband seems to be handling this well for the moment. He went to his mom's already today, and they will go visit his dad this afternoon. I tell him he has to stay strong because his dad relies on him to take care of his mom.

I got nudged to finally change my TGPs to https:. I guess it is time. I have had it in place forever, but I am just too lazy to do it. There are some good things on the horizon, which makes up for losing 3 sponsors this last few months. Time to get back to work...

seems pretty OK after her last antibiotic cure, at least she's loaded with energy again.

It's the usual here, so there is nothing exciting to report.

Today, I'm taking a flight up to northern Ontario -- Sault St Marie to be specific. We're going on a train to look at the leaves turning colours. https://agawatrain.com/ It's something I've always wanted to do. Back on Monday so I'll bee scarce until then.

One of my best trips to Canada was when we visited Emerald & Blubrit around this time driving north of where they lived seeing the changing of the leaves and finding a hill spot where it looked over a small town that was postcard perfect. Good Times!

Was in a big funk yesterday and it has partially subsided. Hope the trend continues as I get to see my grandson later today. This should help.

We laid my aunt to rest yesterday. When hospice 1st came in, they asked her if she had any goals & one was to go to the casino one last time. We did make that trip last month & it was the happiest I'd seen her in a long time:

If you look closely at the slot machines in that pic, each one shows 3 7s which is usually a pretty decent payout. What we did was start at the far end & each time one of us got 3 7s, we cashed out of that machine & went on to the next one. Those 5 wins did help us get back to almost even

My aunt is also part of my earliest memory: She was watching me when I was 3 years old when my sister was born, and I remember sitting on the stairs in my childhood home with my aunt waiting for my new baby sister to come home.

I've got a lot of shit to do today. Here's a good one: I got a scene yesterday featuring a new male performer whose chosen name was "Wild Child" The worst part is that it got to me, the webmaster & last line of defense before it was caught.
