Well you know boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like women. You just have to read the manual and press the right button

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – HardcoreMoney.com surprised the webmaster community Thursday by announcing on GFY that parent company Global Media Inc. has decided to pull the plug on the once-popular affiliate program.

Like Kinky, I never received anything. And as I didn't send them a lot of traffc, I found out they are gone only today. Its a little funny considering the fuss their parent company made about being honest

Damnit!!! They owe us almost $50k. Calling their office only produced run around. Now I have to get my money the hard way

P.S. Microsoft was sniffing around for them I know that. I'm guessing they found them.

Ouch! That sucks Becky

When I talked to them on the phone, they blamed M$ as the reason for their intimely departure. Was still a crappy way to go out though...leaving the sites online and the affiliate links active to steal our hard earned traffic...not cool at all

Running the final search and replaces today changing out their links.

It sad what M$ can do to a good company. I don't think this is what Tom or Global wanted to happen, but you need deep pockets to fight M$ and stay afloat.

Becky, are you serious: 50K ? I wish you luck getting your money back.
Romeo: having troubles (which you caused yourself) is not a reason to start stealing.

Unfortunately yeah, we are owed that much. We keep calling to find out what is going on and keep getting different people to talk to. No mention of closing down.

As for dealing with Microsoft, they agressively pursue spammers. I certainly wouldn't want to be on the other side of them in a court room.
