How do I block video downloads?

Hi,
I'm trying to rewrite .wmv to some other file using htaccesss to block direct downloading of files. The goal's to stop surfers from downloading video files by either creating their own HTML with the video url in it and right-click/save or typing in the video url in the browser url thingie.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Nevermind, got it. Using cookies and checking them in .htaccess, I can link to 3420efgd0f9f9g.wmv and have the right clip play. From the source code, surfers will never figure out the actual file name.
