spacemanspiff - Never seen a mod to "rotate the gallery listings alphabetically" but I am sure it's doable.. Could well be worth asking in the GT forum.

admin template driven and a major pain in the ass to use

LSQL is those things and is NOT a PITA.. It's templates are very powerful

Noone at GT has ever been willing to try... It's been asked before but always been in the "too hard basket". They're usually pretty helpful so I'd suggest while it's not impossible, you really will need to know perl to do it.
