retroactive .. 2257
By reading the information on the FSC and DOJ's "agreement", is anyone else reading that if the Injunction doesn't happen that the DOJ can prosecute any non-complaint 2257 sites that were not complaint as of 6-23-05 even if they were a FSC member?

Yep!!! You are still supposed to be compliant until the rules get changed.
Did see though that their filing even says that they will not be proscuting post facto regarding the new model ID requirements(maybe some other stuff). I will wait to believe that when it has actually been incorporated in the law, and not some lawyer running his mouth. In the meantime you may want to stop tossing content for now. |
