Newbies - do NOT copy a sponsor's hosted free sites, add recips and submit them as your own. I'm banning one of you new guys on four separate lists this morning. It is theft, pure and simple.

Yep, I've got two submitters doing that crap. Well, close anyway...these assclowns are taking sponsor galleries...tacking on their own entry/main pages and calling it a free site.

Have sent them 3 mails with no response so far...next one is a ban

what if they have permission to do that? i just asked myself at the guy of ragecash to have permission to host the free hosted galleries myself? i dont mind people doing that if they have permission of the sponsor, one thing i will do is i would only accept about 3 sites like that totally at the linksites i own.( and yep i m an lazy builder lately) i think its almost the same like i always ask sponsors to build me an layout for th sites i wanna promoot i take care of the content they build me the gallery or layout for the free site, i didnt made them all myself, but still i use it (hey and i did made alot of stuff my own)

No matter what, Stu - instant blacklist. Submitter shoudn't be seeking permission to simply copy HFSs to their server to submit to link lists.

1. People should have to work to earn their income.

2. Link list owners will probably be listing those HFS on their own. No one wants dupes.

3. Who the hell has time to ask if someone has permission to do this or that?

Number 1: yep all work for their income and all try that to do it also in an easy way, i do , others do!
Number 2: yep they probably will so they can delete those sites its their desicion.
number 3: if i have permission i also know others get the permission, so yep i accept them but only an couple, every linksite reviewer or owner has their rules, so i respect the way you think. And you do make an point because i believe alot of webmasters are now copying i also am a person if i can do it an easy way......i wouldnt take the hard way, but then i have my own linksites and there is where i put most of my stuff! i know webmasters do this so i expect to see alot of the same copied free sites at the linksites i review, specially if its an new sponsor, if they get listed with their sites thats an other part, but you know people try specially new ones who dont know all, i was an newbie ones........still sometimes because i still ask alot of things

If you think about it, this is quite possibly the WORST way to market a site - the surfer sees the waring page, go into the free site, click a few pics/vids, decided to visit the paysite & see the same fucking warning page - that'd make thing really fucking confusing.

not with all sponsors gg, also if we think that way, why do we linksite owners put those free hosted sites then on our linksites? on the other hand, for an real newbie it is worse , because you have to build an trust at the linksites and its not an good start like this..........mmmmmmm seems i think to much, now stop making me think because i need to work

I get that pretty consistently, and it never ceases to piss me off. Usually I'll just decline without blacklisting for the first one or two and give them the opportunity to ask why, but ripping off sponsor HFS or using sponsor galleries as gallery pages is the equivalent of spamming my submit form.

It's not bad. If I want to list the sponsors HFS then I'll add them in under my affiliate code. I accept free sites from submitters so that I have variety which means they need to make their own free sites.

i agree but i have to agree with the people who are trying, you have an a no....... but you can get an yes not all know about ragecash, not all hang here ( most do but not all) so an small linksite owner who dont have much submits and dont know ragecash would list the site! always an change to get listed at some places

mmmmmmmmmmmm am i making newbies going the wrong path now? i think i use my evil part of my brain to much not all submitters go for the big traffic and the big linksites, big traffic doesnt mean big sales, and with that alot of linksites came on the net lately, will they survive or be good who knows, there are alot of submitters who just wanna get listed everywhere and they have probably their reason for that .
