Hoping for Spain, and they are looking really good, thinking maybe Argentina (also looking good) or Brazil (they are Brazil)

France don't stand a chance in hell, England aren't very convincing, Portugal look ok but they wont make it, Germany did good today, but against a real opponent they just can't make it

That was heroic! I'm about to sing the swedish national anthem now.... you can't hear it though, and ur prolly better off!

After the first half I thought mothafucka this isn't gonna fly, but whey, did we come back!

Funny, I was the only swede in that bar among 30 or so english, luckily I didn't get my ass kicked

well off to bed its 6.30 AM here

Great second half last night from Sweden.
I think England should be glad for 2-2! It was pretty close that we scored another goal.

England got a pretty "easy" game against Ecuador, Ecuador are in the playoffs because of lousy teams in their group (excl. Germany).
No games are easy, but some are easier...

And yes, Sweden also might be in the playoffs because of lousy teams (excl. England) BUT.....

Germany isnt THAT good and got ALL the pressure from the German people. Sweden are not supposed to win this match and are underdogs without pressure from the Swedish people (we are just glad to be in the WC, we are a hockeynation).

Its going to be a great and tough game on saturday, I am looking forward to it.

2 great games today Portugal-Mexico and Holland-Argentina so it will not be much porn tonight.

/Thomas

Holland - Argentina.. that's a final (well... semi-final) on it's own. Too bad they're both playing with their "B-teams" since all the players that are already booked with a yellow card will not play tonight out of safety reasons.

Stu, sounds like you need a soccer-themed drink cooler to watch the games with!

I found a neat list of world cup soccer theme gadgets today:

soccer stuff

I'm not sure how that hovercraft ball frisbee thing would handle; maybe the kids would like it...or you could wing it at those damn neighbor cats...

I managed to watch the entire game, at the bar ofcourse. If I was at home I would have zapped away after 20 minutes or so...

Ghana - USA is on right now and there's a lot more action in that game. Before the tournament started I figured GGhana would be one of those "What the fuck are you doing at the World Cup!!" teams but they are actually pretty good. Not that good for my betting stuff tho

just came back from Germany .... got to tell You from what I saw Dutch played like pussies (except arjen robben ... hat's down for him) Argentina is my no.1 favorite they are oh so... so ... strong and Brazilians ... well they are Brazilians
meaning they threw 2 day party in Munich with cute girls dancing samba all the time but then played poorly but won ... then again I think they showed their real face against Japan
others!? Germany has a good chance ... play strong all three games and have great support from the fans (hell I watched news there and their biggest concern was did Balak sleep well and how often does he goes to toilette|shocking|

other than that don't think anyone has any chances and frankly it would be nice to watch Brazil-Argentina in finale
