Without saying too much, last Wednesday, a very good friend found his wife had committed suicide. Since then, I have been his driver/run around guy/drinking partner and shoulder to cry on.

Anyway, back to work and normal life.

Good morning..

We went from 35º C to 4 in a day with huge storms etc so i could use some heating. My neighbor is a dr so fixed my finger and I did not have to go to the ER, and ordered me rest for Sunday. I am a good girl and did what I was told to

Now I also have work plans plus radiation every day and it's cold and heavy rain outside... huh. Kind of a busy Stuvelje post, isn't it?

I spent a lovely 12 hours down in the Pool House yesterday watching football. It was the 1st time I experimented with 2 TV's and once I figure out the logistics, I'll have to take a picture & show off how much of a geek I've become

Morning all, just trying to wake up enough to go for a morning walk. Haven't walked since Thursday, so have to get back in the groove of things. Tried sewing yesterday for the first time in awhile, and I hate patterns that give instructions for 3 projects at a time, and you have to figure out what bit is for the one you are working on. Dang I made a lot of mistakes. Then they left off that I needed webbing. But when I'm done I'll have a mod flower power "green" bag to use for shopping instead of the boring black ones you buy at the store.

So its porn, sewing, walk, and watering the green house kinda day.

Jim, so sorry about your friend. That is tough one, hope he is ok.

Morning everyone. I'm a bitter charger fan today. I'm mostly over it except for the fact my instant messenger is blowing up with people more angry than me I guess about the turn of things yesterday. Looking forward to next monday though.

Been busy with a bunch of updates on parts of my site. Going to begin modifying a database table to add more functionality to the site. Going to work out some other stuff but haven't exactly picked what I'm going to focus on. bah. Need more coffee I guess.

Good morning world

At least it was when I thought I'd said something earlier, about 3 posts in this morning. But my mind must have wandered off to the newsletter I was getting out and forgotten. So rather than whatever I was going to say earlier I can tell you that instead.

Brand new and nice little 10 acre park just opened this month about 2 blocks from my house. Just far enough that the evening lights don't bother me. Nice walking/bike path with workout stations, bocce and shuffleboard courts, skate park, roller hockey rink, three full or 6 half basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball field, and lots of open space, all along the waterfront. I'll get some photos from the second story of the new community center they built in the park. I took a few pics this morning but it's hard to see a lot from ground level.

Yeah, I know it's going to be hard to find excuses not to exercise more with all that around the corner.

Wishing everyone a better what's left of the day than what you've had so far.
