Monday June 29th (The Bitch Is Off Today!)

Morning!

She was off yesterday, too, but she went to visit her non-Yell brother & then to Bingo! so I didn't really get to see her

But today, we're both going to the chiropractor & after that, we'll be spending the day on the couch getting caught up on our TV & movie watching

I did finish Sense 8 yesterday

Then I started to watch a Rambo marathon on Epix. Good thing I hit record before I fell asleep

Time to get The Bitch outta bed...

Watched American Sniper last night. I want my 2h 14m back. Even the person that asked me to get it to watch didn't care for the movie.

Going to work and the hit the gym.

Good morning.

Had a decent weekend, didn't do anything yesterday but work until around 4pm then got through season 1 of Orange is the New Black. Finished season 1 at 11pm but Had to watch the first episode of season 2 after the way 1 ended, wow. Today is a work day as usual then I'm gonna bet more OITNB at some point after dinner.

Spent most of yesterday on a friend's boat in the sun but now I have to figure out what to do today.

BTW if you like OITNB check out 'Wentworth'. It's about a female prison in Australia.

My cousin wanted suggestions for her (not yet born) kid, with a science fiction theme. I suggested Smartybartflast. She did not like that. She is considering Dax, I pointed out that Dax was not a person but a giant slug that lived inside someone's body (see, I am not just a Dr Who nerd, I can talk Star Trek too). She glanced at her stomach, and decided that Dax was a very appropriate name!

I wanted to see that. Then I saw the trailer, and it convinced me not to waste my time. Someone should tell them that a trailer is supposed to sell the movie, not turn customers away.

I saw a lot of the original series that Wentworth is based on (Prisoner In Cell Block H) because my grandmother was a fan, and it was sometimes on when she visited. If OITNB is anything like that, I'm glad I don't have Netflix. "Prisoner In Cell Block H" was total, unbelievable, crap! (Plus, I'm told, it is where Mel Gibson started his career, so I blame it for him, too!)

The husky (13 years old) decided it was too hot for a walk today, and he was too tired. Then I got my lunch out ready to take with us. Instead of sandwiches I had a big bag of leftovers from my sister's barbecue yesterday. With a share of that in the offering, he decided it was not too hot, and he was not too tired for walkies after all!
