Promoting a BBW paysite

First off lets focus on your affiliate proggy.

No webmaster - that knows what they are doing.. - is going to send traffic to a pay site tour that has lots of leaks to "other places" - that would be a waste of targetted traffic.

Though amateur sites are a bit different.. the usual premise with pay sites, is to get the surfer to the signup page.. not off to a toplist..

IMO you should remove all the "leaks" from your tour and just promote your self.. let the affilates you sign up get the traffic and send it to you.

I mean don't get me wrong I know where you guys are coming from by saying that you don't want to send good traffic to a bunch of leaks. I don't want to use popups but I'm sorta at square one again. I had someone who supposedly "knew BBW traffic" as my webmaster for about four months and frankly that has ended up as a nasty war between he and I. He also told me having an affiliate program was "not worth it".

I am sooooooooooooooooooo willing to get rid of popups and unneeded links. Alot of the amateur sites in the BBW niche go about getting traffic with toplist popups and the "grass roots" way, posting in egroups, newsgroups, message boards, picposts, chat rooms, etc... And I know there has to be a better and easier way to get traffic. I did come here to network and find help and meet some new people, not to get off on the wrong foot with other webmasters, cause well that's just futile. If you still would like to sign up I will rip those popups off in 5 minutes.

If you get some good affiliates promoting you, the volume and quality of traffic should far outweigh the other methods you mentioned.

Many paysites have seperate tours set up for affiliates to use (no consoles or pop ups or leaks & whatnot)

This may be the best bet

yep, acutally I did have that on my old tour. I had a clean tour for my affiliates and my regular tour which had some popups on it. IT was just redesigned a month ago, I have been busying myself with free sites and tweaking everything. My site is a year and a half old, does this still constitute me as a newbie? lol

Would someone be kind enough to just give this a quick look over, I believe all the graphics are working but sometimes that is not always the case

I'd get rid of the "Hot BBW Links" table off the tour pages - as well as the "friends", "links" & "shop" pages (2 traffic leaks & one that the referring webmaster does not get paid on)

Also, on the samples page - when I click on a pic, the new window (or whatever it is) opens with the top left corner of the window where my mouse is - so if you're on the bottom or right of the page, the pic loads where you can't see it

Ok, Greenguy thank you for the tips. I "think" I got it all straight now. The friends page is not one of those traditional "friends pages" , it doesn't leak out anywhere. Just a sample of who is inside...
