they were showing past past speeches, and when they showed Daddy Bush, all i could think of was Dana Carvey's impersonation.
Well kudos to Barbara Boxer and John Kerry for voting their conscience. We can watch today as more of our constitutional rights are eroded away. |

Nah - I doubt it all. Do the research, listen to NPR. Lame duck Presidents have little to no power to accomplish anything substantial. Over the past 4 years the pendulum has swung a bit too far to the right. The next 4 years, if history is a guide, will predictibly swing back towards the center. GWB is returning with the lowest public support of any 2nd term. The first President since Hoover to lose more jobs than gain. Yeah, he has his "Moral Mandate Capital" that he intends to spend. I'm guessing that will amount to about 3 bucks. Patience is a virtue - though not easily obtained.
