After a break of a couple of years, I am back working on sites. I have cleaned up 2 of my amateur sites and would like to see if I am going in the right direction.

Yes, I still have my pics opening onto html pages. I know that is nasty for some lists, but.. the pages have no ads now and never will have. I do it to keep the flavor of the site and provide navigation to the surfer. The only ads are on the main page and the gallery pages. Any counters left behind are returning traffic to me - though I have gotten rid of the dreaded Sextracker all together.

Yes, I still use some sponsor content, but I am trying to use it in a different way. I do try to have at least 1 gallery in each site be owned content. If I am trying to lure the surfer to the pay-site, isn't giving them an actual taste of what waits for them better than using something they may not see?

So, ladies and gents.. am I getting closer with Amateur Hour (http://www.eroticove.com./amateurhour/) and My First Time (http://www.eroticove.com/myfirsttime/)?

How long have you been out of the Free Sites game?

1 - counters are banned on a lot of Link Lists

2 - most places allow you only 3 banners/ads per page, so all those "bonus gallery" and "hot chat" and "daily pic" buttons will probably need to go

3 - most link lists are only taking recips on the warning page

4 - some of the pics are too small - general rule of thumb is that they have to be a t least 500 pixels on one side

There's more, but I think if you clean up those things & then come back, we can take another look at it

General mistakes I see are:

-No Counters allowed at all! (almost everywhere)
-Images opening onto html pages with the big picture leading to the sponsor
-Waaaaaay too many links on the main page. 3 links MAX and that means to other sites you own or pics/videos of the day or toplists
-recips should be on the index page (main page is usually ok too but index is needed for some)
-Bonus galleries are not allowed when they are sponsor hosted. All galleries Must be on the same domain as the rest of the site

Also the pictures are fairly blurry, not too clear. It is best to keep the site in a theme which your are but series of the same girl per galleru=y is much better

Thank you both very much, gentlemen! I had forgotten to strip the counters off the one site, and have done so now. Ramster also nudged me to check the rules on using sponsor content, and found I no longer need to link back to them. Yeah, it has been quite a few years, GG.. prolly a good 3 since I was half serious.

I also removed all the bonus galleries and such.. nice and clean now. I left the toy link, as it goes to a page resident on the individual site. I also changed out several galleries to better pics and such. I do believe all will now meet the minimum 500k pixel size on the large dimension. Thanks for the nudge, GG.

As I have been resubmitting these two sites, I have been placing the reciprocal where asked. I am a stickler on this, and have never cheated a link list yet. I don't intend to start now. Before I submitted these two very many more places (and got a bad rep for sites that will not pass), I figured I should whip them into shape and then submit away.

Okay, gents.. ready for the next round of rotten tomatoes...
