Holy Crap what a day in March Madness!
Lousiville down 20 wins in OT Ill down 15 with less then 2 mins and takes it to OT... 2005 will go down as one of the best tourneys ever. |

Told my son with 2 mins left in the first half the Louisville would come back and win it.
Illiniois... they didn't play like the #1 team at all. MN women beat by Baylor  But it was the third time in a row to the Sweet 16. Plus we have some great players signed for next year

What a tourney
A number 4 that should have been 1 at least 2. A number 5 placed probably correctly simply exceeding all expectations. The number one playing like 8. Milwaukee making the Sweet 16. I think you're correct Torn - this year may be the best tourneys ever! Still wondering if they seriously play BB West of the Mississippi?? (and for the geography buffs, yes the U of M is on the West side of the river, but the campus is on both sides )

The Final 4 is finally here....
Ill vs Louisville then North Carolina vs Mich St with the finals on Monday night. I'm rooting for a Ill vs Mich St finals, but I think it will be Ill vs NC and Ill will win it all. Any other predictions or will you all be like greenguy and wait for the results before you say "that's what I thought"    |

Be nice if Illinois shows up to play in the 2nd half, too many damn 3 point shots and not enough inside.
Reminds me of the IU/Maryland finals, IU kept shooting out beyond the arc and Maryland took it inside. |

But Ill had a shot at the end, I think it was just too many damn three point shots... fucking 12 for 38 from the arc, they needed to take it inside when they was shooting and missing 7-8 in a row. Augustine was a nice waste of space....Big Ten Tourney MVP fouls out 0/3... |

Tons of mistakes for Ill... coach was to blame for a lot of them.
They didn't play the entire first half. Not going to dwell over it. NC won. It's a game, there will be others. Now just hoping Baylor wins tomorrow so the Gophers look good!
