Is there such a thing as having too many trades? Does a site's design limit the number of traffic it can get?

Does it vary for TGP vs. top sites?

I guess the more you have, the harder it is to send anyone a good amount of traffic.

Unless the goal is link pop. or seo pr.
(depending on the mood of the google-bot that day)

But in a traffic situation less would be more, in my book.
