Bush opens mouth, inserts foot

Today, at a presser, this exchange happened with Peter Wallsten of the Los Angeles Times:

Bush: You gonna ask your question with shades on?

Wallsten: Yes...

Bush: But there's no sun out here.

Wallsten: It depends on your perspective.

Bush: Touché.

Wallsten is blind.

Yes, the president continues to astound me with his immense grasp of sarcasm and wit.

I mean, were he not president, what would his calibre of intellect allow him to pursue? A NASA engineer? or perhaps a particle physicist? either way, we must consider ourselves fortunate to have such an itellectual for our leader.

It's up to you guys to vote the Republicans out. Hell, I am a libertarian but I'd vote for Hillary in 2008 [if I could but I can't].

good point, but I dislike the socialists as much as I do the far right.

On the other hand, I'll consider voting for hillary if I want my taxes raised to 95%.

It's not just a Republican thing. They have all been in office for way to long. It's time for a lot of fresh blood on Capitol Hill. Get some folks that actually do what they are elected to do.

What a wonderful thought.

If it could only come true.

The democrats are a shoe-in in 2008 unless they do something stupid like run Hillary.
