Recip rule question

For all you gurus out there, this may sound silly...

I'm not sure I understand this one:

"Sites which contain any recips with more than 2 links on the warning page will not be listed."

Would someone please explain me what this means?

Hey kitty_kate, first of all welcome

That rule means you won't get listed on some LLs if you put recips of other LLs that usually contain 3 links.

Check out for example GG's recips here:
http://www.link-o-rama.com/greenguy/linkstuff.htm ( All recips contain 2 links, that's why you won't get listed if on your free sites submitted to LOR for example you put recips that contain 3 links ).

Yea, there are a few link sites that got way carried away with their recips. One in particular that comes to mind has 9 (last I checked) links in his recips. That's just way over the top
