google links, pr, etc.

I am the first to say i know minimal amounts of seo and what makes google list link:whateversite.com info to a site.

I was looking around trying to get more info and found an article about http://www.alladultchannel.com/ having a pr7. I checked their links listed in google and a majority of them were from that domain. I didn't think google would actually list links from the domain itself as links.

Also, whats the highest pr anyone has seen on an adult sex site and what site is it?

Quick answers - dont go by what you see on the toolbar for PR (or any of those check your PR sites for that matter) - they run about 3 months behind what the real PR is at Google and Google loves to "misdirect" WMs

-also PR can be faked very easily - didnt check this site to see if it was in this case
The link: command is also not very reliable - it might show about 5% of the real links - you would be better off checking it with the yahoo link command - again Google hasnt shown real linkbacks for almost two years now

The highest adult (a real porn site) out there with real PR has been a PR of 7 - back when we could check those things reliably - but interestingly - they didnt rank for very much again proving that PR doesnt mean diddlysquat when it comes to ranking well in Google results
