MPGs - IE vs Firefox

I use Firefox for my browser, but I do check my sites in both.
I have noticed that mpg's play right away in Firefox, but it
takes a long time for them to play in IE.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Brian, from passion-for-porn, said the ones on the site that I
submitted today won't play for him at all.

I'm stymied because the movies play just fine for me.

It plays fine for me. I don't play movies in IE, instead I let them load in WMP, like the default settings on a Windows machine.
