Morning all. Just repaired my water heater too. It seems the hard water in my area just keeps messing it up. Oh well.

My four year old hot water is still in good shape. I bought the biggest one that Home Depot sold at the time so that we never run out of hot water.

Just another day like yesterday expect I'm one day older and instead of going to the gym I'll be doing laundry all day.

Just started my 3 weeks of no offline work. Celebrated it with the co-workers Yesterday, a bit too hard it seems since I'm experiencing a mild hangover

Tomorrow morning I'm leaving for a 9 day trip to Slovenia with the gf so I'm getting things ready now.

Good morning! Touch wood, my water heater is just fine.

I finished cutting my lawn just as it started to rain. Which makes me think that we still haven't had any really hot weather yet. Sigh.

I've started a personal mainstream project so porn stuff has taken a back seat. I need to fix that.

Good morning. I think if we ever need to replace ours, I'm going to install a "just in time" water heater and switch from gas to electric. That way we can just turn the Gas off for 8 months of the year and not pay them $40 just for the privilege of being their customer every month. The actual gas is extra of course.

I hear that with the new anti-global warming bills in congress, gas and electric will cost 70% more in 5 years because of carbon taxes. That will make for another nice recession.

Greenie and I got to see Stone Temple Pilots yesterday while the girls played the slots. We were all going originally but the casino messed up and only held two tickets. That sucked but they had fun so i guess it worked out ok. Today's another typical day of webmastering and adding links.

some nice good weather again here today!
Still i cant relax, i didnt manage to sleepin till late this morning, hubby asked me yesterday what time he should drag me out of my bed this morning, i told him 10:30...guess what..8:45 i was up myself

Fucking hooray. / went ot 100% this morning causing the mysql server the bite the dust, so now I'm having a 500gig backup drive installed and reassigning the partition that used to be /backup to /var to get /var-the-pig off the root partition.

The video goes haywire, like when a video card is toast. I haven't talked to the tech guy since I dropped it off but I'm betting (and hoping) that the issue is the on-board nvidia video. The 8600Ms provided by Nvidia for the MBP Santa Rosas and a few other laptops have a defect. They used sub-standard paste inside them. Apple extended the warranty to issues related to the video. So hopefully they will cover the cost of repair because I'm sort of pissed. It's not my only issue with the laptop. The battery only lasted 113 charges, the DVD ROM drive wont burn any DVDs or read burned DVDs, and the laptop wont sleep properly (after lots of troubleshooting I'm pretty sure it's related to the depleted battery.) It keeps waking up at random. The $1100 laptop I sold before getting this one still works fine for its owner :p

Take away these issues and its an amazing laptop

Yeah the Internet is full of horror stories of that model, lots of issues. The good news is Apple has been replacing the mother boards for free and the new boards seem to be issue free.

Hopefully it's all integrated into one piece and they do end up replacing everything. It might make the SuperDrive work again. I rarely use it but I'd just like it to work.
