Good morning all

Expecting another 6 inches or so of snow starting this evening and then followed again with more below 0 temps. Getting a bit tired of it already truthfully ... lol

Way too fucking cold for my south Florida ass.

Drove and called all over the place trying to buy a space heater yesterday to add in addition to the heater that is already in our macaw's aviary but every place was sold out yesterday. Our macaws seem fine this morning but I'm still going to try again today to buy a space heater. Lowes hardware did say that they might get some in today.

I do have it wrapped in two drop clothes, two layers of Visqueen plus a blanket at the end with the 150 watt heat.

Other than working and looking for a space heater just a day of work and possible a trip to the gym planned on this very chilly day.

Way too cold down here for me too. No birds to keep warm, but my two cats refuse to leave the little patches of sunlight that come through the windows. They run over to the food and water bowls then right back into a patch of warm sun.

I think I'll make a big pot of Italian sauce today, which should keep the kitchen warm at least.

I've picked up a sore throat and a lousy cold and I feel like crap at the moment so I'm not sure what will be done work wise today.

Sorry to hear you're chilly down in the southern states. Its close to tropical in our basement as I'm trying to sweat out this cold and I have the fire in front of me roaring

I feel good today. I suspect that I had a cold or something the last couple of days. Anyhow, I feel like working today. It has warmed up here in Toronto. It is now a balmy -10C / 14F!

Been up and working for a while and that's the plan all day. Good hockey game last night as USA beat Canada is a damn good game. US had a real good team, fast too.

Had a Purdue basketball game on and than the Orange bowl to watch so when I went to CNNSI to look for the USA/Canada score all I saw was the pregame hype story with a small caption of "Canada down 4-2 storm back to win 6-5" so I went to bed thinking the Canuks won it... Gotta love the main stream sports sites... so accurate.

Morning. Loads more work to get done. Got run errands at some point today as well. I think I'm going to need more coffee.

Last night I watched a doc film called "The First Saturday In May." About a bunch of horse trainers trying to get to the derby. It was an interesting watch. Now today I'll continue to watch some farscape. I haven't decided if I think it's cheese factor is greater than that of stargate sg-1 yet. Going to give it a season.

Time to drink coffee and work my way over this hump.
