Happy Bank & Mail Holiday!

Morning

This bank & mail holiday is gonna screw me up

I usually get a big deposit from a sponsor on the 10th, but since that was Saturday, it'd usually get moved to Monday, but with the "holiday" I won't see it til tomorrow. Tomorrow is also the day that my CC & another business loan payment are due, which means that as soon as that money hits my account a little after Midnight, it'll be sent in many ways without me being able to run the numbers 1st. I also have a deposit that needs to go in before all this....UGH!

But, no sense in worrying about that until tomorrow. Today, I'll be working

Going to an elderly friend's place today with my wife. She is in long term care and we have to sort through her things. That's about it.

I'm 90% electronic payments but no banking today even kills that.

On Saturday we went down to Miami to demo the Mirage Adventure Tandem Island kayak only to find out that they didn't have that model there. Being as we were already down there we headed over to see the remains of the Crandon Park Zoo. The animals have long since been moved to Miami Metro Zoo but the remains of the cages are still there.

While there a goose started chasing me and bit my big toe so I grabbed him by the neck and explained to him that I'm much bigger than he is and he shouldn't do that. Oddly he left me alone after that.

It probably wasn't a good idea to spend most of yesterday using a chainsaw in our back yard and then go for a night bike ride through the Holiday of Lights afetr injuring myself biking the day before. I can't begin to put into words how much pain I'm in today.

Juts a day of having my ass planted in my office chair working planned for today...

Morning all.

Woke up to freezing weather here today that has frozen my pipes in my greenhouse. Just waiting for them to thaw to check for damage.

I had no idea it would be in the 20's here, weather.com has been calling mid 30's as a low, which normally is ok.

So later today we will be turning the water off to the garage and getting it winterized. I'll have to drag a hose over from the house to water my garden and greenhouse, which is a PITA, but better than busted pipes.

Sales last week where horrible, hoping this week they pick up.

Morning. Well the wife is still pretty down and out after surgery. Blah. It's been a massive help to have 4 other girls here helping out around the house. We actually left for a little bit yesterday. I've coded a bunch while she has been sleeping.

A lot of things need to be looked after and I've finally done some much needed cleaning on things. Lame how shitty events give perspective.

Anyway, now I'm going to handle some mainstream client business as it's a lot of money on the table that I need to pick up to pay for bills that I know are headed my way.
