DYK That 12+14+12=38?

Welcome To The 349th Day Of 2012, The Year Of The Lord!

My meeting with the disability lawyer went really well yesterday. I was declined because they feel that I am still capable of working 40 hours a week, but the lawyer said that they can't expect me to find a job out of the house because I'm technically not supposed to drive due to my leg spasms, and they can't expect me to work as I do now, which is for about an hour or 2, then go lay down until my back pain subsides, then repeat until bedtime. The only shit thing is that I won't even get a hearing with a judge scheduled for 12-14 months! And who knows how long after that that the hearing will take place

Dinner with my Dad & stop-mom was only partially awkward. Since my 1st surgery back in Nov 2011, they have felt that their doctor is much better than mine, so I get reminded of that & what a fool I am for not going to him instead

And the restaurant they took us to had HORRENDOUS service. When we questioned why our dinner was taking so long, we were basically told that the party of 14 sitting in the back of the room was more important than us. Yeah, that's what you want to hear from your waitress.

No lawyers, bad restaurants or relatives giving medical advice today.

I'm doing a quick round of submits with stuff that I setup last night so that I have time to go see a client that wants me to take over maintaining his mainstream website. He is known for being a real pain in the ass but money is money in these recession times so hoping to get the account.

I want to get one of these door knocks for our front door.

Greenie, 2 good things
Firstly most SSDI claimants are initially denied, but through the various levels of appeals all the way up to an Administrative Law Judge, a over 70% eventually win

Secondly I believe once you are approved your benefits are retroactive from the first date of application

Morning. Crazy week. Last night actually went out and hung out with a friend and met some new people. Was good to just get out. Had a little too much whiskey and while not hung over, just kinda tired.

Now just watching some tv while programming on a project.

Later tonight have a holiday part to go to for my lady's job. They have really good food at this one.
