Arrow Moneybars, Image Sizes - a couple of small questions

Hello again.

I have a couple of small questions about feeders, and the do's and don't's at this current time (since generally accepted rules keep changing over time!)

1) Moneybars
How do LL owners feel about moneybars - are they classed as one ad, or 6 links (if it's a table of 2 rows, 3 columns for example)?

2) Image & Thumb sizes

Minimum image size: 600px on the longest side.
Minimum thumb size: 100px on the longest side.

Are these the generally accepted sizes by LL owners here?

Regards

Ian-Michael

Moneybars are NO NO NO NO NO! Each link on a money bar is a link off. If you are submitting to Tommy, you get 2 links. So Moneybars are a NO!

Your image sizes are okay.

Money bars, yeah each link is counted as a separate link.

Pics need to be at least 500 on the long side so 600 is fine as well.

Thumbs 100 on the long side is also fine.

Thanks for the fast reply

No moneybars huh? WOW, things have changed since I last made a free site!

*runs off to rethink layout of free site designs.

Moneybars will get you rejected here as others have already stated.

Pics need to be a min of 550 on the long side.

I like larger thumbs, so if there are two or more subs in the same category I'm looking at, the one/s with larger thumbs gets the nod.

Here's another one.

An out-link to a 3rd gallery - not part of the site.

Is this OK?

I was thinking of having a link "Bonus 3rd Gallery Here", or "More /Niche/ Pics Here".

This links to a gallery of the same niche, but is not part of the site, so it's an out-link (instead of an ad) and has a money bar?

What about if there's an FPA before the out-link to this gallery?

(Can you tell I don't like giving the surfer too much without shoving an ad under their nose?!)

As long as it isn't blind or exceed the 3 link limit I could care less.

No - I hate blind linking, very unproductive.

Here's what I mean.

On gallery 2 - one of the 3 outlinks allowed is a text link "Bonus 3rd Gallery Click Here" or "More Free /Niche/ Pics Click Here".

This leads to an FPA for that same niche as the free site, and the 'No thanks' link on the FPA leads to a small gallery in the same niche.

So the surfers is getting another free gallery but it isn't part of the site, so it counts as one of the 3 outlinks allowed on each page of free site - this OK?

/

I might be confusing myself now, but since moneybars are not allowed - what about a banner (or button, odd sized banner) with a text link - is that considered 2 out-links or just 1 ad?

Hee-hee, sorry about that!

I don't have an example up and running, I'm working on site templates now and trying to guage what I can and can't do before I start building.

Basically.

On gallery 2 of the site, the link flow goes:

GALLERY2 -> FPA -> GALLERY.

The 3rd gallery is not part of the site, it's in my own internal network of sites.

You see, so instead of using one of the three outlinks on that page to link to a sponsor, I'm using it to link to my own network of sites (hub).
