Happy Stupid NHL Draft Lottery Monday

Good morning

Up and working, fucked off most of yesterday afternoon then watched the Leafs lose last night. Tonight is the Fucking Dumbest thing the NHL has Ever done. Suffice it to say, Pittsburgh (7th best team this year), Edmonton (9th best team) and Toronto (12th best team) all have a chance at the #1 pick tonight. I'm hoping it goes to a team in need like Minnesota (I do not like them, it's just that top picks should go to teams in need, not teams already loaded with talent that make the playoffs year in year out.). Option 2, Winnipeg maybe? Rangers aren't very good either lol

I HATE the US communist attitude to sports ... drafting is an outrage - if my team can attract a player with a great contract and awesome prospects why is he forced to waste away in Minnesota on a draft

Abandon all drafts, let the free market roam and if a team wants to buy a player, offer him the best contract or package ...

PS: The fans of my Swedish team has decided they want some new forward...they currently have 2500+ donations from fans towards it - and the club has had to agree to try...

Yeah, I agree Ramster. It's a dumb and unfair idea. Kind of like the US tax code. Lafreniere will be a huge boost to whatever team gets him. Also, let's demand the return of the old coffee emoji. Coffee, coffee, coffee!

After 4 days of not doing that other stuff outside I have to get out there. Expecting mid/upper 80's this weekend so really need to take advantage of this cooler than normal time.
