Hosted Free Sites with Rotating Galleries

Sammy and I are not aware of any sponsors doing this but it may have been done or discussed. We are wondering if there would be a demand for link list owners to want to include Free Sites that have galleries that rotate on a pre-determied schedule. I beleive this would also create bookmarkers to that free site as well as to your link list. Kinda a win-wn situation because as always the links would be coded with your refferal code. Please let us know what you think?

Free sites are usually promoted on a theme/niche basis so I dont know if rotating galls would be of benefit..

Not for me - I don't even use rotating galleries on the TGP's I run.

it would be hard for link lists to use them because they usually give a pretty good description of what the surfer can expect to see inside the site.... if the galleries are rotating then they would have to use a really generic link description which probably wouldn't be very beneficial... it would be better just to build more freesites with the different galleries... more sites=morelinks=more signups to your program

For TGPs there are actually a few sponsors offering this, but I never used them exactly for the reason of description... Might be a different story with thumbnail previews if the thumb can be pulled from your server, too! But then: there are so many different thumb sizes in use now... Nightmare!

Als, if I might make a suggestion - make new site titles for each one - if you keep re-using the same titles, Link Lists will not link to all of the site because we don't want 4 or 5 sites named exactly the same, since they'd end up being listed one in front of the other

I agree completely. That's my big pet peeve with FH sites...put a title on the site that reflects the site, then put a big banner advertising the paysite below it |rasta|

Maybe not for TGP like most were saying, but for a link list which is what I thought you were referring to, yes we (certified sites) are interested in something like that.

We have an area that says like "daily blonde gallery" and we would link that to a program that offers daily rotating galleries.

Is that what you meant?

That is what I was referring to. I think what we are going to do is offer it for people that can use it. Of course we will continue to offer free hosted static free sites but I believe the more options the better.

It could be a good idea if done right.

I've been considering making freesites and using my ad server to rotate differnt banners and text links so that each surfer sees different ads, I could then see which banners/text generates the most clicks and take the unproductive ones out of the loop.

Taking Sammy's idea you could also change the images in the galleries, although to keep the description correct I'd use the same girl from the same photo shot and only rotate perhaps 30% of the images.

I think its a good idea to let surfers see something different each time even if its only slightly changed.

One different image might be the one that makes them whip out a credit card.
