I've never encountered that. Usually it's classical music, but it is still very bloody loud.

Just get your own back. When they finally pick up the phone, you go "HELLO MOTHERFUCKER! JUST WONDERING WHEN YOU'LL BE DRAGGING YOUR FAT, LAZY ASS OVER TO MY ROOF WHICH NEEDS FINISHING. YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT I'M SCREAMING AT YOU. THIS IS BECAUSE YOUR CUNTING MUSAK HAS MADE MY EARS BLEED AND I AM NOW HEARING IMPAIRED!!."

Just be sure to throw in several more motherfuckers and fuckers into the mix to get your point across.
