Yeah it sounds like something has messed with your OS.
 From what I'm told, I don't use Windows myself, Windows ME is a real piece of shit. Since it sounds like your install is hosed you may install a different version of Windows. Win2K is my favorite Windows for when I do need to run Windows. |
