UW said it all. As for the index question, most people make different folders instead of different named "index" pages, in each folder you would have a index page.

I dont know about everyone, but index pages with 16 recips are usually prefered, but as with anything, long as they are done well. You could have 6 and look like crap or 16 that look good.
