Is there a way to do this?

Hey all, I wanted to ask if there were a way to expand a link inside its existing page

When the "bio" link is clicked it pops up a small "index card" style info window.
Here is my question..is there a way for the window or the information in that window to open up within the same page? Meaning when I click on "bio" could it expand the tables' cell to include the full bio? And if so what is the method? It doesnt have to be done in cfm in fact id rather it be done in the simplest of ways.
