To me, it was the begging for votes from webmasters that seemed odd. I thought fans were the target audience. From what I could see yesterday, as I clicked on 100 or so names at Booble, it would appear that most of those girls either didn't give a shit or had forgotten about the contest anyway. A lot of them had zero votes, most had only a couple and the rare girl would have 40+. I didn't see anyone with anywhere near the 800+ votes Mariah had, so I guess they didn't realize that they should have appealed to easy-to-make-drool webmaster class.
