All sponsors should be scrutinised in this manner...

It's quite a common occurrence - I've lost count of the number of sites I'd like to promote but won't due to this and other affiliate tracking related issues

Some use CCbill + Epoch and others on their own tours, but only use CCbill on aff tours - so check them using aff codes before making any accusations...

2257 links on hosted materials are another common leak

Check the Members Entry link on the tour - does your code get replaced on the 401 page? (This applies to a heap of sponsors using NATs, and one sponsor using their own tracking that I know of)

Is your NATs code passed to every page on a tour - or does it only appear on the page you link to and is thereafter tracked by cookie?

Do your sponsors add their code to root domain typeins therefore replacing yours?

The tricks are myriad, you're not being shaved per se, you're just getting screwed...
