The smell of death...

Dead rats, lots of stinky, smelly dead fucking rats. My backyard smells like there is a dead body back there. Actually I guess there is a lot of dead bodies back there.

I found this huge underground rat's nest under a planter so I stuck a garden hose down the hole and when I started seeing rats coming out of another hole I blocked it with a brick. Let the hose run until everything was flooded. I guess I killed a whole lot of the little nasty fuckers because the smell of death is overwhelming now.

I wonder how long it takes for a nest of rats to rot and stop stinking?

Dispite it being kind of cool enough to turn off the A/C I'm keeping my windows shut with the A/C on. I would guess that my neighbors are doing the same.

Still waiting for my bike racks from eBay to show up. I hate it when the seller doesn't provide a tracking number. We are hoping to use the racks tomorrow but I have my doubts that they will get here today.

Just another unexciting day of work planned along with doing a bunch of piles of laundry.
