I think some people use the "google" exit link in hopes it will boost their ranking, or raise their listing there. It doesn't.

Like PC said if you feel you must use one, exit off to one of your mainstream sites, that way you might be able to regenerate a little of your own traffic back to yourself. Most people just hit their back button though.
