New stuff is just made cheap. In my office I have a 32" (or about) CRT TV that is over twenty years old and works perfect. It was actually my mother's TV and she died in 1992. I keep on waiting for it to die so that I can replace it with a 32" flat screen but it just keeps on going and going.
