Sponsors shouldnt redirect hosted sites

The issue of sponsors just going belly up and disappearing is a completely different issue - this case is one that we've experienced many times in the last two years with the changes in the Visa rules - and in every case I can think of, the affiliate program gave their affiliates a heads up - and the choice (most importantly) to redirect their links or take them down. To feed your new program (which from what I gather from the other thread is where these links have been redirected) with traffic designated for affiliate paysites is just not right when the person you are getting the traffic from thinks their traffic is going to a paysite - not a filter project.
ARS, MaxCash, and many others have redirected links due to changes in their programs and they took the few minutes to compose an email to their affiliates at least a week ahead of time so that their advertisers could change links if desired.
