I lived in Los Angeles area on the coast for 10 years I use to love the green tide! You can make trails in the sand with your hands even! That stuff lives on sea turtles too making them glow to the touch or under preassure..I discoverd the turtles on the Florida coast so I guess it is a dual ocean phenomenon..interesting stuff!
