Can I interject with a quesiton real quick?

I note that alot of link lists rules specify (as they have for at least 4 or 5 years now) that they want no more than 3 *sponsor* links per page.

It seems that alot of the more recent link lists still have the same rule text, but have apparently expanded it to mean no more than 3 links *period*..

Which is the more common do you think?

I mean, if I read no more than 3 sponsor links, I certainly adhere to it, but I'll also think nothing of adding a small tasteful link table to my own filter sites as I've always done.

Would appreciate thoughts and comments as I'm getting back into the free site routine here.
