Firefox goofiness..

Anyone know if there's a hidden setting somewhere that will allow a new page to load even if one that is already loading isnt done yet? It's like it will only load one page at a time from the same domain or something.. for example surfing a TGP - I go to the main page, while the rest of the thumbs are loading I attempt to visit a gallery in a new tab.. the new tab wont go anywhere until the first page is completely done, quite annoying.. Any ideas? I searched google but couldnt come up with anything.

[edit]Hmm, maybe I jumped the gun here.. it must just give the first page I'm on extreme priority over the new one and its just my rediculously slow connection to blame

. I feel like I live in a 3rd world country with this 33.6k MAXIMUM bullshit.. Carry on, nothing to see here
