What this country needs

Being the voice of dissesnt these days in this country is a dangerous thing. The powers that bought themselves into office have graciously allowed themselves the ability to qwell this important part of our political system.
What is the criminal liability of our current political system? According to those who make the news their hands are clean. A recent report about abuse at GITMO was knocked down even by the very news organization that published this story. Who got to them? I am more than certain that abuses involving the Koran there are only a small part of the overall abuses these detainees encounter. The mass murder of Iraqi civilians from this criminal enterprise of war to keep this president in office. Lies and fear are the tools used to allow abuses like this, like 'the patriot act' like '2257' like 'Pentagon Student Database' and so on.
2257 is just another move in a direction to purify our country. How many illegal actions have occured in the last 5 years since the criminal administration has stolen the elections? How we have been bamboozled by these currupt leaders who represent no one but their illuminati masters who seek nothing more than the 'corporate manifest destiny of this entire planet'.
Slavery; this is our new vocation as americans.
Revolution is what we need to stop these greedy, evil molestors of our liberty.

I posted this in a previous thread but it should be said over and over again to help stregthen our resolves.

Quote:
Declaration of the Four Sacred Things by Starhawk

The earth is a living, conscious being. In company with cultures of many different times and places, we name these things as sacred:
air, fire, water, and earth.
Whether we see them as the breath, energy, blood, and body of the Mother, or as the blessed gifts of a Creator, or as symbols of the interconnected systems that sustain life, we know that nothing can live without them.

To call these things sacred is to say that they have a value beyond their usefulness for human ends, that they themselves become the standards by which our acts, our economics, our laws, and our purposes must be judged. No one has the right to appropriate them or profit from them at the expense of others. Any government that fails to protect them forfeits its legitimacy.

All people, all living things, are part of the earth life, and so are sacred. No one of us stands higher or lower than any other. Only justice can assure balance: only ecological balance can sustain freedom. Only in freedom can that fifth sacred thing we call spirit flourish in its full diversity.

To honor the sacred is to create conditions in which nourishment, sustenance, habitat, knowledge, freedom, and beauty can thrive. To honor the sacred is to make love possible.

To this we dedicate our curiosity, our will, our courage, our silences, and our voices. To this we dedicate our lives.
