Got Something worth trackbacking?

I've played with the permalink settings in options, and I understand the principle.

But I think the problem I am having is with the htaccess, if my research is correct. I think I need to use a modified htaccess to get it to work. But, I just haven't gotten to fixing the htaccess.

Maybe I'll get the time to mess with it later on tonight.

I actually tried trackbacking to boogies blog in one of the posts on this blog, the 2257 post near the bottom of the page. I posted about this in an earlier blogs and blogging post. But, blog novice that I am, I wasn't sure that I did it right, and suspect I did it wrong.
