Generally just a reference that can be checked. If you claim to be affiliated with a magazine, they may want you to fax a copy of your article & byline, or a phone number of someone that they can confirm this with.

I received mine from the camera crew that was following me around last year. They simply added me to their roster.

Maybe Alex can designate you his 'muse' and you can piggyback on his xbiz credentials |cool|
