I think it's important to share information so that others are also looking out and banning those that can't play by the rules. This is not to say that by having additional rules (what sites are permitted, etc.) that some of that couldn't be ruled out.... we do have honest webmasters that send hits from non .com/.net domains so banning links with all domains that use .de etc. may not be the best approach. Something I'll consider and keep an eye on for sure... just not what I prefer to do since that seems like punishing everyone for the perils of a few. On the java issue, that's a little tougher. I'm not sure what you are referring to as a potential solution there. If you have an example please let me know.
