Personally I don't think he was being harsh enough.

Booher threatened to send a "package full of Anthrax spores" to the company, to "disable" an employee with a bullet and torture him with a power drill and ice pick; and to hunt down and castrate the employees unless they removed him from their e-mail list, prosecutors said.

The only thing that I hate more then e-mail spam is snail mail spam. Especially when checks and bills get thrown out by mistake as I'm trying to sort it all out each day.

I still get spam for my father who has been dead for over twenty years. In fact I get spam for my whole family each week and most of them have been dead for many years. I guess their memory does really live on, at least in spam databases.
