IMO, if a newbie can't handle a little harrassment from people who know a lot of useless shit then I'm willing to bet they probably don't have the fortitude to handle this business anyway.

If it's a balance of sitting on the side and reading raw business talk vs. an environment filled with newbie friendliness, I'll take raw business talk and an adult dictionary anyday.

Personally, I like that newbies have to prove themselves before most people here extend extra, extra help. Means there's more pie left over for those who HAVE proven themlseves.
